Registration
The Online Customer Survey registration process is not great. First, we had to enter our first and last name, street address, city, state, telephone number, date of birth, email and ZIP code. As soon as we hit “submit,” we were shown a page that asked us to fill out the member questionnaire (16 “yes or no” questions) to confirm our membership. After that, we were shown an ad asking us to enter our email address to qualify for a free $1,000 Wal-Mart gift card.
Try as we might, we couldn’t find any way to continue without entering our email. In our humble opinion, if a site tries to trick you into signing up for offers in order to sign up, something is wrong.
After signing up for an account on their website, we got a confirmation email—but it wasn’t from Online Customer Survey. It was from “Valued Opinions,” which, as it turns out, is an alias for OCS.
